I am looking for a used parts dealer. Specifically, I need a radiator, starter, alternator and wiring harnesses

Secondhand parts are rare. You can get the radiator re-cored if you have the old one still.
All these parts will be available from your dealer but at a cost.
Do you still have the old parts or were they missing when you bought the machine? as most of these items can be repaired.

Got ya.
I bought a machine like that, was in a real mess but it was brought back to life pretty well. From what i was told its a flaw in the starter solenoid. The copper contactor can actually fall off shorting between the +ve and ground. This will set the main +ve power cable on fire and if there is any grease or oil it will catch fire too. As soon as the fuel line catches its all over, 40 odd litres of fuel feeding the fire.
Like i said, you can get the radiator re-cored if you still have the top and bottom tanks, if not they are quite pricy from the dealer.... i got a quote for around AUD $1,500. I got mine re-cored for 600. The wiring harness can be done by hand if you have the patience. The hardest part is the panel in the ROPS but if its still there its still quite simple, worst case an auto electrician can do this. The alternator should be available non-genuine too, if you need a number i can get one off mine that may help you in your search. I don't think its genuine as its a bosch not delco which i think is the *normal* one.

Thanks, could you give me the part #s for both the starter and alternator? Also, how hard is it to rebuild the injection pump? I have it apart and am not sure how the gears go back in

If you have it apart you must get it re-assembled and calibrated by an injection shop. Getting the gears back in is not the issue, adjusting it so the same amount of fluid comes out of all 4 delivery valves is the problem. Hopefully Mark can help you with the part # my manual is for a 743 not 743B.

If you have it apart you must get it re-assembled and calibrated by an injection shop. Getting the gears back in is not the issue, adjusting it so the same amount of fluid comes out of all 4 delivery valves is the problem. Hopefully Mark can help you with the part # my manual is for a 743 not 743B.
The new parts for your 743B and even Tazza 743 are the same. Starter 6685190 is $325.31
Alt is 6661611 $144.62 fan 6659375 is $11.20 and pulley 6659373 is $8.23
All brand new, old delco numbers sub up to these. If you have the Nippondenso starter toss it in the nearest metal bin, they are junk and have a problem damaging the ring gear teeth.
As Tazza stated, injection pumps are best left to the pros, we as a shop wont even touch one.

My alternator i believe is Bosch as i blew the regulator and it had Bosch stamped in it, this is why i assume its not from Bobcat. Unless they use their regulators *shrug*

Tazza, I am restoring a 743B that was fire damaged. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures of how the hoses, control cables and wires are routed in the engine compartment. I saw you restored a similar model ands was wondering if you had a link to the pictures? Also, with respect to the Kubota V1702 engine, after installing the gear onto the crankshaft, the slinger is installed followed by the o-ring and collar. I assume the collar goes on with the chamfer toward the slinger so as to seat the o-ring and keep the slinger from slipping with respect to the gear. Is this true?

You are correct with how the slinger and O ring go on, it needs the chamfer to house the O ring. Ensure the crank nut is really tight too!
