I have a CT 322 with a broken bucket tilt cylinder ram, Does anybody have a sorce for these without paying the dealer $405.00?(just the ram, cyl is about $700.00)
I was dragging some rocks around in my driveway and when i went to tilt up with a empty bucket it broke the turned down nut section off the end of the ram (the one on the inside that holds the piston on the ram). Do you guys think I could drill and tap the end of the ram and put a hardned stud in it or should I bite the bullet and get a new one?
Thanks of any and all comments or ideas. Larry

Hard to say without seeing it.
I rekon a machine shop should be able to repair it for less than that.....
What broke off? the gland nut? the part that the rod extends through with the seals?
