Picked up an armload full of new filters from the dealer the other day for winter maintenance on our 4 new holland skidsteers and found metal fillings under the plastic from the manufacturing process. Also 1 of the filters would not thread onto the side of the block. Couldn't believe it so I looked at all the filters and found the same result, cheap made in China crap. Confronted the dealer about it and his response was "this is what new holland has in their system so it must be alright". He obviously doesn't need my business. Since these machines are our livelihood I need to find a supplier with a good product and care about their customers. Spent the day looking for a new source for filters, can't believe that the poor quality and service that is out there. Would like to find a one stop shop. So far Carquest blue line filters are still made in USA, but they have to order most of them. Tried Deere and they are India, Mexico, or US. Napa Gold is Mexico. Haven't tried Bobcat yet. Anybody had any experience with the washable type filters?
