Today I finally got the 743 all back together and moving. At first felt like a rattle rocket, but once i got the steering adjusted and the parking brake adjusted its feeling alot better. I had 2 small fluid leaks but tightened the connections and its all good.

The only thing I am trying to get fixed is the arm tilt pedal. The pedal is VERY tight. You have to use MUSCLE in your foot to get it to move, and push VERY hard. Worst yet, it sticks. So if you push it down, it sticks and will keep going when you lift your foot off. Any parts I should replace in the linkage?
I lubed it all up but it made no difference.

Thanks to tazza and everybody else who has given me advice over the MANY MANY years that I have been attempting to put this thing together. The bronze filter change made the hydraulics feel like a completely different tractor.

Congrats! Glad to hear it. Now about you pedals, did you have that part of the machine apart? If not, you may need to take them apart and free everything up.

Pushing your toe all the way forward will engage the detent.
It sounds like you may need to remove the rear cap and see if it's rusted up at all. Watch that you don't loose the detent balls though.
