763 identify electrical harness connections and hydraulic lines?

I will identify each question with a number.
Question 1.
In this pic you will see thee harness has a plug cconnection hanging not connected to anything. Is this an optional fature I dont have or is this plug supposed to be connected some place?
The picture in question 1 is with the cab lifted where the harness comes from the engine compartment into the cab area.
Question 2:
If you are sitting in the machine this would be on your left side. It is an electrical plug that does not appear to connect to anything. It is near the hydraulic pistons that cnnect to the lever steering linkage towards the front of the machine. Any ideas where it gors or what its for?
Question 3:
Another plug connecion without a place to go. This is also located on the left side of the machine if you were sitting in it. It is under the cab towards the rear by the engine compartment where the steering linkage connects to te hydraulic pump. It has a blue outer shell.
Question 4:
These 2 connectors also are disconnected. Dont know where they go or if they are for additional options that my machine does not have. These 2 connctiors or on the same harness that the plug connector that goes to the air intake assembly in the rear engine compartment. You will notice the battery in the pic below andthis is a pic with the air intke filter box removed.
Here is a long view of the harness here you can see the area under the cab for a better idea where some of the plugs are under the cab I mentioned.
Question 5:
In the pic below if you are sitting in the machine it would be on your right however in the pic it shows as the left. You will see a rubber hose with a hose clamp on the end not connected to anything. Its right above the steel hydraulic lines. The line

Question 5, i believe this is the fuel tank breether. It should plug into the breether barb on the fuel fill spout. Its just to allow the air to come out rather than gurgle when filling it up. Nothing too important.
Q1 may be for attaching different attachments to the aux lines. So you can control more things, this will need another harness to be run from the plug, down the boom to the couplers.
The others may be simply for features like bucket positioning, rear aux hydraulics etc. Just see if things appear to work, if so, juet leave them be.
You have some work to do there, get rid of the rust and a good clean.
Find a Hotsy to clean it up. I borrowed one and was amazed how well they work.
Yes it needs a good cleaning for sure. Do you by chance know if we have any good how to's on the pintle shaft seals? Any advice on working that far back in the machine? Seems like I should cut a board to lay on may be my best bet?
As far as the plugs go I assumed it may be a general harness that may fit additional machines with more features than mine.
What exactly is a hotsy? Any thing I should cover or avoid spraying when power washing?

as to pintle shaft seals speedy avail 99-100 applied tech. as to the rest this is a BOSS UNIT RUN AS FAST AND AS FAR AS YOU CAN,unless you are prepared to piggy bank cut ahole in roof and place all spare change here. it can be squared away just did one fo a factory, 10 yrs of jimmmy joe blow pocket knife and tape,took 3 new harness es 4 senderes and abot 15 hrs, make no mistake it is right now ,not something i would have done,
WHat is a BOSS unit? Everone has seemed to give good reviews on the 763's so what exactly is it about them that you dont like?
Like I said the machine runs as far as starts and cranks and pumps hydraulic fluid. What else should I be wary of?
Pintle seals are pretty easy. It just takes a bit of time. I saw a post on another forum that they used cable ties to capture the centering spring, compress it and install two cable ties to hold it compressed.
Remove the steering levers and centering plate. Then remove alloy pintle arms, clean the area really well. Remove the 4 mounting bolts around the pintle, I believe one or both have a metal mount for the centering assembily. Remove them and the plate underneath. Replace the seals and O rings, re-install in reverse.
I can't stress it enough, keep it all clean. The job is still pretty simple.

It is easy to identify a loader with BOSS. The loader will have a “digital dash display“ in the upper right corner of the cab instead of the traditional gages.
The bad news is the display and controller are expensive and some of the controllers are no longer available.
The good news is all the controller really does is monitor the sensors and will turn off the power to the fuel shut-off solenoid if the sensors show a problem. You can override the controller by opening the fuel shutoff with your hand and wedging a stick (or anything else handy) between the valve and lever.
I have a 1995 763 BOSS and have had no issues with the system. The early BOSS systems prior to 1993 had a lot of problems and they got a bad reputation. Starting with the G-Series all loaders have a similar system that will monitor and shut-down the engine if problems occur.
