Fella's, got everything fixed on my 853 (serial# 512819835) except the aux. hyd. on-off. The green aux. light next to the aux. hyd. on-off switch is still blinking and the loop hose I had made for the aux. hyd. front connectors is still hooked up, this is the only way the arms and bucket will work. I replaced the two aux. hyd. solenoids (part# 6665084) and nothing changed?. Will the aux. hyd. spools make a clicking noise when power is applied?, Tomorrow I'm pulling the upper right instrument panel and check for any loose connections or whatever.... Any help appreciated. Perry

Hello Perry Let me throw this your way, it may or may not pertain to your problem. When I purcheased my 853C the hyd pump was shot. I took it to Bobcat, new pump, releif valve and few misc. items replaced. I had took the bucket off at home. Picked it up all seemed well. Got it home, no dwn pressure on the tilt of my bucket. I removed a relief valve on the backside if the valve body. (1st attemp to fix it) and found a very small bit of metal stuck in it. Talking about getting lucky. Had it repaired in 10 min. It sounds like you have a small problem, just finding it. dennis

Did you replace the steel spool inside the solinoid? It sounds like one of these is sticking in the AUX hyd on position. Do the coils get power anytime that the key is turned on?
Because if they were powered up or on (when you turned the key on, without hitting the aux hyd switch) then there is a switch or wiring problem. Because even when you ativate the switches, turning the key off cancels all aux hyd functions.
If there is no power going to the coils, you must have a spool (part the coil fits over) that is sticking. If you could borrow a grapple or or hook up a cylinder to your quick couplers, you would be able to see whick way the oil is trying to flow. (which coupler is pressure and whick is return,) Then I'd recomend switching the 2 spools with each other in the valve body. Then see if the oil is trying to flow the opposite way around through the couplers. If the flow dirrection changes it is a sure sign of a stuck On spool.
With the aux switch lights blinking sounds like there is a switch or wire problem, but if you simply unplug the wires to the 2 coils that would eliminate it being a wire/ switch problem

Seems I may have seen this problem before , the blinking of the light you are talking about is probally trying to give you a code , is there any sequence to the blinks , kinda like a morse code thing ? , I think that your aux hydraulic controll module may be bad , a wiring issue or you mentioned already having changed the 2 aux hydraulics coils , but when you changed them did you change the stem and coil or just the coils , you can test the coils with an ohm meter , it should read 11 if you hook the two leads of the meter to the two wires of the coil , the stem is the part that the coils go over , and they screw into the valve , in side the stem is a spring loaded plunger that does the work , it may be stuck on , the loop hose you are talking about makes me think that the aux is staying on all the time
