Parts for D100 backhoe

Hi to all,
I use an old Davis D100 backhoe on my 742B. The bucket needs some pivot bushings and new teeth points.
Do any of you know a good source for parts for these old backhoes?
I can get some bronze bushing at a local bearing house. How well do you think that would do the trick?

If its aleready worn you really need to machine the holes back to round then get metal to sleeve it. There is no real reason why you need to use bronze, steel will work just fine, just keep it greased. Mine needs attention like this, but its one of those things i'll get to when time allows.
Teeth can be picked up from a few places, any that build or sell buckets should be able to help you out.

I did a bit more research and talked to my local Case Dealer. It seems that Case sold the rights to the Davis line to ASTEC Underground. ASTEC still offers some parts support but not directly. Case is able to order the bushings for me but they are a bit pricey. The teeth points they had in stock at only $3.88 apiece.
Bronze is actually too soft I found out. The oem bushings are hardened steel and the operator manual says not to grease so as not to attract dirt, dust, etc.
I may order the factory bushings but in the meantime I made some out of some steel tubing. I will see how well these hold up as I don't do a lot of digging.

For the amount of work most of us do, we don't need the super hard bushings and pins. Mild steel will see us out for all the work we will need it for.

Timpkin Bearing also make hardened bushing in most common sizes of od and id. Our loca machine shop keeps them on hand and this is what Bobcat uses for the pivot points on their hoe.
