hey all i have a new holland l555 and am having an issue that i need to figure out asap. machine ran completly fine when i parked it last week. now went to get in it today and i have no hydraulic and machine wont move forward or back. it has been extremly cold here like low teens cold. but I am a little worried bout this if anyone could give advice or info i would appreciate it thanks.

When you attempt to use the boom or try to move the machine does it make any type of sounds? Does the engine sound like its loading up? Can you hear any change in the sound of the machine at all? Total loss of all hydraulics could mean damage between engine and pump system. The pumps are all lined up in a series, engine-left side drive pump-right side drive pump-then the small gear pump used for the boom. At the back of the left side drive pump is a splined shaft which engages a splined collar on the flywheel of the engine. This shaft could have possibly snapped or "wrung out". That would be my guess for total hydraulic failure. Possibly could be a blockage in the hydraulic fluid pickup. Check the fluid screen and filters also.

Any news? I am interested to know whats wrong with your machine. Sudden, total hydraulic failure is rare with an L555. Just curious to know what you have found.
