Engine stopped running while machine was moving forward - when you crank engine it starts up and then stops after running for a second or two. Will not continue to run.

Thanks for the reply - we did what you said and the result was NONE. Any other suggestions or possibilities for our problem?
Sounds like its not getting enough fuel(broken or clogged fuel pick up, clogged fuel filter, water in fuel)
The fuel filter should have a drain on the bottom open it and see what comes out.

Could it be a bad hold coil in your shutdown solenoid?
Turn the Key to on, then push the lever just below the injector pump, see if it stays in place. If so, your hold coil is working. These solenoids run two coils, pull and hold. The pull operates when you crank then lets the hold coil hold it in place. If the hold coil is burnt, the lever will pull back and start then let go when power is removed and the engine will stop.
Just a thought.

I have seen the S175 have a pinched fuel line. I can not remember exactly where but will look tomorrow.

Thanks for all the assistance. Returned to the machine after 48 hours. It cranked, continued to run and we used it for a couple of hours without any problem. Must have been one of the shutdown systems that are advertised with this machine doing its job. All fluids are at proper level. Again, thanks for your assistance.
