Does anyone here have any experience with or an opinion about attachments made by Quick-Attach Inc.? I'd be interested to hear how they compare to other brands. Thanks, www.quick-attach.com http://stores.ebay.com/ATTACHMENTS-DIRECT

I finally check out their site. Looks like they make attachments modeled after other manufacturer's products. Without seeing the attachments in person, it would be had to tell the craftmanship. They could be selling attachments just as good or better than the original designs. Or they could be cutting corners on fabrication or materials to reduce the price. It may be worth the extra money to purchase from a manufacturer with a known reputation.
I'd love to hear anyone's first hand experience with them.

I tried using a Quick Attach 72" grapple bucket (rented from volvo rents) on our t300 to load brush and debris. The bucket square tube reinforcing at top of the bucket which carries the stress from the grapple hydraulics is undersized and buckled under pressure at both ends after one day. After repairing this the unbushed pin on the left hydraulic arm dissapered and racked the wrist pin. After reparing this the grapple arm weld broke at the frame. Over all the bucket was under built for size of hydraulics and moving parts lacked bushings and zerts. This is an inferior bucket that will leave you hanging. Volvo Rents allowed me to return the bucket without penalizing me. I have no experience with other Quick Attach products and would likely steer clear personally.

I have one of their root grapples and one of their snow blades. Both imho are OEM quality equipment. I'm surprized to here of someone having so much trouble with just one atttacment. How much hyd pressure does a t300 have? Have used both of mine on my 773 without incident. This company sell attachments from (i believe) 4 different plants. One of them is the Erskine plant that used to make the Bobcat snowblowers and several other bobcat brand attachments a few year back. Ingersol rand restructured the company and erskine was left behind, but not because their products lacked quality. They still make one of the best snowblowers for all different types of prime movers and they have a long list of big clients. The city of Winnipeg Mb was their picking up 6 blowers the day I purchased my equipment. Ken

I bought a "Saber tooth grapple bucket for my 95XT a month ago. I have about 30 hours on it tearing out trees. The bucket is very well built and nicely designed. They make heavier grapple buckets designed for high performance machines. If you used a light duty bucket and put it on a large track machine you are sure to have problems. I of course don't know what grapple you rented but just by being from a rental house I would guess a light duty bucket was what was given out. Quick Attach is a well known company. Anyone ever heard of Erskine like the snow blower manufacturer. Same people.
