I think the large ports are aux. you want the bottom rear small port, item 49. trying a pic dont know if it will work.
is that with the legs up or down on the restrictor??? cant see pics

thanks for the help

With the legs in the air, you want the restrictor to seat when the lift cylinder base end oil travels back into the valve and let the oil go around to the cylinder when lifting. Tazza do you have a gresen valve in your 743 or a melroe valve?
Erosk - it was the Bobcat ones i have fiddled with, also have done a gresson one in a 731 before. From the picture they obviously aren't there are they....
I can blame it on old age setting in early.

Hey old age, I can relate to that I am getting old before my time! I dont bend over these things much anymore but I like to stay in touch with the service end as much as possible.

What does the machine do if you install the restrictor backwards??

Slow up, fast down
Sorry for all the questions... I am working on a machine after someone else has been into it and not sure everything is where its suppose to be.. Can the spools be installled 180 degrees out??? Also the light that is the hydralic temp light is staying on after startup and not going out. I have already replaced the sensor to the right of the hydralic filter. Any other common things you see cause this light to stay on???

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP SLOWLY FIXING THE PROBLEMS 1 BY 1.

I don't know about the light sorry, i'd have said sender but you changed that already, maybe a worn wire?
The spool can not be installed 180 degrees out.

WHATS THE BEST WAY TO CHECK THE LIFT CYLINDERS ON A 763??? I HAVE RESOLVED THE OTHER PROBLEMS WITH ALL THE HELP AND MILLION QUESTIONS I HAVE ASKED.. I FOUND A COUPLE OF THE SMALL BLACK HOSES GOING TO THE CONTROL VALVE IN THE WRONG PLACE AFTER LOOKING AT ANOTHER 763 LIKE THIS ONE.. SOMEONE ELSE HAD BEEN WORKING ON THIS MACHINE AND HAD PUT IT BACK TOGETHER INCORRECT...

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP
