Bobcat 642B Tilt cylinder rod end bushing.

Bobcat shows bushings but I swear that it is solid. I tried welding in side and even took a notch with my plasma. It is solid. Anyone ever ever done one of these?

I did a little digging and the original 642 (not 642B) had a rod with no bushing. Either your machine is not a “B” or someone in the past switched out the rod or entire cylinder.

Bobcat used several different cylinders in these machines for whatever reason. Even if you know the serial number there could be 3-4 different cylinders that could have been installed. All the same size just with slight differences on parts.
