TL8 Electrical Issue

TL8 Never had issues with it. Ran it all day. Shut it down, went to start it back up and no lights, no clicking anything. Went and bought a battery installed battery, turned switch to check lights, lights came on, turned key to start and everything went off again. No clicking, no lights etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

clean all the battery connections positive and grounds at battery and at engine block ,battery cut off switch if equiped , you have a resistance problem since you had lights and they went out when you put a load on it when you tryed to start it and it basicly went open circuit.

Is this rhe battery cutoff switch by chance.

There is no factory cut off switch unless someone installed one. I would suggest looking at the key switch. Make sure you are getting power out of the switch.
