I think I could utilize a dumping hopper, but not at the $4,700 price tag the dealer quoted me. I would like to build one. Does anyone have one and would be able to give me some measurements or pictures so I can plan my own?

How about using a big 6' wide froklift dumpster? The kind you pull a lever and it rolls forward. Then make some swivel wheels for the front, mounting plate for the rear. and your good to go. Bet you could do it for under $1000.00. If I ever see one go through auction or for sale and its a good deal. Thats what I'm going to use.

I like your idea here Coyote. Maybe you could find some caster wheels off an old swather? :) $4700 seems steep for a dumping hopper.
