440 CT Bad Hydraulic Leak Need Answers

Hello everyone. I have a problem with my track loader and I am in desperate need of some help. Its a 2006 Case 440CT. Standard Controls. It runs like a champ but has a bad leak in the front of the loader control valve. I need help identifying a part. I cant find it on any of the the diagrams from Case. I have sent requests all over the internet parts houses trying to find it. I'm assuming it is a spool valve?? I have attached some images of the part, its location (red circles), and a diagram from Case saying that there are only two where I have three (blue circle on diagram). Could anyone please I.D. this for me or point me in the right direction. I uploaded some images in the 440 folder of the photos section/index: 1st photo diagram of part #87527174 2nd photo is forward facing end of pump with three valves problem one circled 3rd photo is part I need info on Thanks for the help.

The part you have surrounded with red must be workport relief valve. Part number is 87475943. However, toleak from there, it probably was broken O ring wich I can not see on the third photo. Is the O ring was there?The screw has a channel just under the head. Was there a O ring ? If the O ring was healthy and was leaky, there could be a broken valve case. These things are very difficult to see, usually the split is like a hair. Do not hurry to buy anything before you know the cause of the leak. Put a new O ring and try. These things are expensive.

I appreciate the responses. I was up all night going through every source I could find and most pointed to the relief valve. That you guys mentioned. I ordered one. The o ring wasn't there at all. And If i am not mistaken, this relief valve is adjustable and the previous owner way over adjusted as the hex socket on top of valve was spun out. Can't thank you guys enough for helping. The fact that you have ordered a new valve is OK. When you put it, it will need to adjust. Make sure you put a O ring. Adjusting is by inserting / removing washers between the spring and the screw. Do not miss to do it because if the pressure gets high it can ruin something if it's low your hydraulic will work poorly.

Thanks again for reply. Turns out that the valve is non adjustable 260 bar. Took old one out, filled up reservoir, degreased everything, let it dry. No leaks and hydraulics are a lot more responsive. Couldn't be more relieved. Appreciate the help guys!
