I am working on a Bobcat 773, trying to adjust the steering linkage and neutral settings. I have the Bobcat up on blocks and can hold down the lap arm locks and the machine will start. I hit the lock override button and the wheels will turn. When I lift the seat and cage, it will still run but the over ride lock will engage. I can use a stick and reach the override button, activate it and the wheels will turn. Problem is they will not stay turning. I have to hit the button numerous times and the wheels will turn for a little while then lock up. It is making adjusting the steering and neutral almost impossible. Any thoughts?
