    Diesel in engine oil

I totally agree with you 7LBSSMALLE, for the cost of the pump it's easy just to replace. I have one on order to replace the old one. Thanks for your input. BJ Reed

    Diesel in engine oil

Kubota V1902 there is diesel getting into the engine oil. I had the injectors rebuilt last year, about 150 hours on the rebuild. This engine was rebuilt and set for 12 years in a heated shop. I don't know if the injector pump was rebuilt at that time. Where could I check to see if the fuel is...

    Injector nozzle release pressure

Thanks for the reply 7LBSSMALLIE, the service that I use only does injector and pump service. He has a degree in diesel mechinics. He is very knowledgeable about pumps and injectors. I agree you its is nothing to mess with, there is to much at stake.

    Injector nozzle release pressure

Thanks Tazza, the injector service that I used said the pressure could very a lot more than the book says. The said the main thing is that they are within 50 psi of each other. When here checked mine all was good except one it was way off, so I had him to just put new tips in all of them just so...

    Starting Issues

Scot I would pull starter off and take to rebuild shop and have them to rebuild. I just had mine done and it cost $125 for new solenoid and total rebuild that way I should have to remove it again for sometime. That took care of my problem on my 743. Hope this helps! Br

    Injector nozzle release pressure

Gentlemen I need some more of your expert advice. I need to know what the nozzle pressure is for Kubota V1902? In the book the injector release pressure for the V1702 with the same injectors is 1920-2133, but I'm not sure if it would be the same for the V1902 engine. Thanks I advance for your help!

Bobcat 610 - I have no variable speed (literally!).

Alchemsha in the salvage part section on this forum is a 610 that is being parted out they may have some thing for if you could convince them to ship.

743 starter - where to buy?

If you have old starter have it rebuilt. If not they are all over eBay that may be the same start the Hat come on they will be a small gear reduction. The one in my 743 was a very heavy starter. I had it rebuilt for $100.00 but it is made very heavy.

    Advice on skidsteer seasonal rental

I would determine what what kind/heavy of load (like full pallets of blocks or sod) needed to be handled. Then I would go to local dealer and match up the weight needed to be handled with the capacity of the machine, I would definitely go with track machine because it is more grass friendly less...

    743B fires but dies immediately

I would make sure it is bleed good, it could have some air in system yet. Open the bleed valve and pump the hand bulb and have someone to start keep pumping the blub Let it run just a little and shut the valve that work on my V1902. Make sure run your glow plugs 15 to 20 seconds.

    Power Bobtach

Thanks TriHonu this is great information. I have found a acturator on EBay that will work. Would by chance have the part number for the two pieces that you bought from Bobcat. I'm starting to gather parts now for summer build. Br

Thanks I've seen that post great information, I'll wire the switch through a relay so it should not take as large wire.
