    L555 Hydrostatic Pump Gasket/Seal leak

I assumed I’d have to take out the pump to reseal it…I was just checking. Also you’re probably right about the shaft seal.... I’m checking now to ensure nothing above is leaking down. Thanks Lastly, I would have posted a pic but the system just wouldn’t let me. I tried IE “Edge” and Chrome...

    L555 Hydrostatic Pump Gasket/Seal leak

Quick question, My Hydrostatic Pump is leaking around the bottom edge. Looks like the gasket blown, part of the exposed gasket has come apart. Is there another formed gasket or just silicon? Also, do I need to remove the pump in order to reseal? If I back off the two nuts holding the pump will...

I've looked all over the forum for a L555 service and parts manuals. Can anyone make any suggestions and point me in the right direction? Thanks

Deutz F2L511D not running on both cylinders

Do you think the system may have just gotten a little dirty? Those fuel pumps, lines and injectors have very tiny passages. Think about the trying something simple first. 1.) In the winter do you use any fuel additives? I use Power Service (winter blend) and it works great for me. 2.) Add a...

Checked new filter for leaks after running for about 10min. Now I can finally get some good use out of this machine!

L555 wont start after fuel filter change

antfarmer2, jerry and Ivan, thanks for your help. I got her back working. It was cold here -10 so didn’t get back out there until I got the garage heated up today. After trying to bleed the fuel lines and start the machine with no luck, I started tracing fuel flow from the new filter. The first...

L555 wont start after fuel filter change

Ok. I don't have a smushy ball in fuel line to help prime. I'll rebleed at the filter and try, then open the bleeder at the injector pump and try again if that doesn't work. Just turned the heater on in the garage. I'll let you know what happens.

L555 wont start after fuel filter change

antfarmer2, thanks. I'm not sure where the fuel solenoid is... Also I do have the little bleeder at the injector pump. (counter clock-wise to bleed, then clock-wise shut when done)

L555 wont start after fuel filter change

On top of the main fuel filter I see two bolts. 1.) The filter holder bolt. 2.) The bleeder bolt. I don't see a plug to let the air out and yes I tighten back the bleeder bolt on top of the main fuel filter. (Looking for a service manual for this one) Thanks

L555 wont start after fuel filter change

They say no good deed goes unpunished. I thought it would be a good idea to change out my inline fuel filter and cartridge fuel filter. It’s my first time so I did read up on it. After changing the fuel filter I loosened the bleeder screw at the cartridge filter turned the key on until I seen...

    L555 Hydraulic Charge Question

Mike10, I don't use my skidsteer much, but I'm planning on changing out the fluid and filters around the first of the year. Are you saying when changing hydraulic fluid and filters, normally the the system will prime itself? And you're thinking that it's my internal hydraulic pump seals that may...

    L555 Hydraulic Charge Question

I finally got the boom down. (via methods I won't mention in this forum). I started the skidsteer and the charge light was still on solid. So I blocked the machine up off the tires and allowed the wheels to spin without resistance. After about 5min it got better then after about 10min the...

I have a L555 and I've been looking at this website for a plate conversion to the newer quick attach. I didn't want a plate adapter but rather replace the the whole plate but I think this place has both...
