Its a good investment on these to just go out and buy a new #60 roller chain and throw it on. Just to be safe. I did just about everything possible to try to get my chains not to slip and they keep telling me that I should consider replacing the Drive gear. Which is just about 300 per side...

I didn't think the older onans had a distributor, they ran a 2 plug coil and both wires get spark at the same time, which negates the distributor. I'm speaking about the older NHC series, I don't know about the performer series though, As far as the no spark, depending on the engine probably...
