THANKS! I did not know that "Continuous Hydraulic Operation" was available. I'll assume the "Continuous Hydraulic Operation" still runs even when the operator lifts the bar and exits the cab.
Where are you going to be hauling the bobcat? Just around your yard, highways, local backroads? I would check the axles and see if they are up to the heavier loads of the 763 WITH attachments. I like the simplicity of this trailer though. I have been keeping an eye out for a used 16ft 10,000gvw...
I have had to replace the fuel pickup line twice in my 763 for the same problem. The fuel pickup line seems to dissolve over the course of a few years. It's a pretty simple and inexpensive replacement. I don't think an electric pump will stop pumping on a diesel if it is a continuous flow...
my 763 G-series is quite a bit different. my key is on the right console and all the control buttons are on the left console. https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/8mmDqzV8rjtUtIXkbrvAutMTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink
still can't seem to post photos, even with internet explorer and...
I managed to extract the broken key and got a few made at the local locksmith for $2ea. I had to remove the console and the ignition switch and push a pin through the lock from the backside to eject the broken key. I will probably find the spare on the keyring tomorrow laying in the field. :)
Somehow today the key broke off in my ignition switch while I was working and the spare key and key ring are in the field somewhere. Question, are all Bobcat skidsteer keys the same and can I just grab another from the dealer or ebay? Or do I need to replace the ignition switch and if so, what...
Turns out that my ignition switch doesn't turn past the off position. My 763 has an "auxiliary pressure release" button on the left side control panel, but it pushing and holding it just shuts down the engine and doesn't seem to release the pressure, making attaching the quick connect almost...
Didn't know that procedure. I will try it as soon as I re-attach the brush shark. I have to get a #6 fitting replaced on the whip after over tightening and cracking it. :( Always something it seems.
So I have been using the machine for awhile, since reconnecting the wires, with an attachment that uses the aux-hydraulics, a brush shark. Yesterday I disconnected the brush shark and used the bucket to stack debris and then went back to re-attach the brush shark. I couldn't get one of the...
I ended up taking the machine to the shop and they replaced the seals for $100 while I watched. Mechanic raised the arm and locked in the safety bar, relieved the hydraulic pressure, popped out the forward pivot pin, lowered the cylinder with the rear pin still in place, unscrewed the cylinder...
I have a leaking lift cylinder as well and getting ready to replace the seals soon. I could use a part number for the seal kit and any tips or pointer to a youtube video for the process. 763 G series sn: 512255067
