I bought this 721 and I believe I am having a problem with getting fuel, the PO installed an electric fuel pump and all was well this morning, loaded it and came home, tried to start but refused would run with either (hate that stuff) and engine would die after I pulled the spray away. The fuel pump (electric) continues to run and I am thinking low on fuel or no fuel but tank is full. I have always been under the impression that once fuel pressure is built up the pump (electric) will stop pumping. If I knew where I could get parts for the lift pump I would repair it. Any Help? I have had to replace the fuel pickup line twice in my 763 for the same problem. The fuel pickup line seems to dissolve over the course of a few years. It's a pretty simple and inexpensive replacement. I don't think an electric pump will stop pumping on a diesel if it is a continuous flow system, dumping back into the fuel tank.
