Just started working on this yanmar , the hyd pump has to much internal leakage so I lapped all the parts and rang the dealer for a seal kit .Getthis the kit has about 12 orings , 2 gaskets & a lipseal, the dealer wants $680.00 WHAT THE #$%^@

Do you know the brand of the pump? generally you can get them reasonably cheap off the net. I think a TA1919 set for an early bobcat set be back under $100.
The only seal i'd be worried about getting from a seal shop is the lip seal. They are known to leak if they aren't just right... O rings are simple, gaskets - silicone

Im sorting out local seals, but looks like the lip seal could a bit of a problem .The ID is ok but its the OD to ID that the problem . Im thinking of machining a seal carrier to get around this. I posted the first thread out of total shock at the price. The gasket is made of tin so Im thinking of reusing with some hyd sealant. What do you think?

That actually sounds like a good idea. There isn't that much pressure on the tin gaskets, what, 120 psi max of charge pressure?. Years ago i pulled down a Vickers TA1919 and reused its tin gaskets, i think i only used red silicone. It never leaked on me. I see no reason why hyd sealant won't work.
As long as the lip seal is rated for the pressure, i had a mate that had nothing but troubles with aftermarket seals on the input shaft of one he worked on.

The trick with the lip seal on the input shaft is to find the high pressure one its the one with the steel lip on the pressure side & made from viton. You see this on the toyota skidsteers , the vickers use a standard looking seal but made from viton, the problem is some use a seal that is not made from viton with cannot take the temp.
