What to use for Tracking Sales & Expenses?

Hello,

I'm doing skid steer work on the side and have been using Quickbooks for a few years to track expenses and quotes/sales. There are a lot of things I don't like about it - the ever increasing price is one and another is when I go to estimates, its as if they are randomly ordered as opposed to, maybe, newest ones first.

I'm curious what you guys use and if you really like it or are there any annoying quirks?
