Hi all. I purchased a new hi Mac Australian slasher. It is set to run off low flow. It has case drain hose and worked perfectly. More on that later. Upon first use I noticed hydraulic oil on left and right of machine on ledge below fan vents on s250. It was not huge amounts and when I ran machine without attachment couid not see any evidence. Could a blocked case drain filter cause this . There is no oil below cab. I have not checked case drain filter as yet. Perhaps a seal in fan allowing hydro oil through. I am not a mechanic so any ideas appreciated. Did not appear as I lost much oil according to float in hydro guage.

you've probably figured it out by now, but Another thought is to check the hydraulic oil radiator lines. They too are up high behind cab. If its a Duetz powered machine, there are oil cooler lines for engine up there too.
