Ken, what the heck is a wallenstein bauma lite? When I try to search for it all I come up with is your signature on this forum although I did find wallenstein chippers and winches. just curious what it is. thanks. jerry

They are a attachment manufacturer in eastern Ontario. More tractor oriented but they do make tree spades, chippers, splitters, mulchers, trenchers, stump grinders, backhoes and several other items.
There is a link to both the wallenstein and baumalight websites on the front page of my website.
Not sure why they went with those names, other then Baumalight is made in Wallenstein, On
They do have good products and I became involved with them about a year ago.

thanks Ken, a chipper would sure be nice to have just to clean up and make chips for the trails in the woods but can't justify it right now.

I re timed the in feed motor on a Valby chipper for a local fellow a while back. Then tested it, It would each 6” poplar trees at a pretty good rate. A tractor pto on would be faster as they have more hp to run it, but even with 25 gpm at 2500 psi it would have made a whole lodge of beavers proud.
