I just got donated a used 763 from an auction....yes i said auction..def would be my last choice but it was not my doing... Anyways, There a couple issues which i can fix ie, hole in muffler, seat sensor to unlock hydo etc... just small stuff. Well my huge problem is when i try to drive up a mild grade or try to haul a medium load the engine just seems like it can't get power, thus stalling. It doesn't really sound like it's running at max power even when standing still. I have a 743b and that thing will perform circles around this 763. I have a fuel filter on order thinking that maybe it's just not getting enough fuel. so we will see, but this problem just really frustrates me because I have no idea what else can be causing this issue. It's like it just doesnt have the umph to do any kind of work or even drive !!! Yesterday i was just moving it to park it and I hear this explosion and when i opened up the back door there was coolant everywhere...so it looks like i have that problem now too! ugh ! btw, i have not checked my belt yet but i dont smell or hear any slipping any help would be greatly appreciated !!! thanks !

That doesn't sound like a drive belt, the drive belt would have the engine running but not bogging down as the machine lost power. I'd suspect it could be a fuel supply issue, the filter in the tank could be plugged up.
As for the coolant, i'd be sure your radiator cap is new, it could have built up too much pressure and blown a hose, better that then the radiator!

If it starts ok cold and the exhaust clears up quickly there is likely not too much wrong with the motor. If a filter does not help try hooking the fuel up to a jug in the back for testing purposes. How many hours?
