up hydralics jerky?

Using the 743 today and hydraulics are jerky while lifting loader.....down OK. Can also feel it a bit while lifting bucket. Tried greasing.....no change. Checked hydraulic fluid......no leaks....but was down about 8 quarts. Topped up....but no change. Oil looked a bit foamed up prior to topping up. What could be the issue? pump?

Linkage issue is possible, can you hear the pump making noises while it's jerking? it could be air in there making it jump around.

All good now. The low oil level in tank, pump must have caught some air, and created air bubbles. After topping up, was good the next day after all the air bubble dispersed. Thanks
