Hi, IM new here and trying to help a retired friend with his TV380 skid steer. I hope I'm not out of line in asking if so please delete. He purchase a used TV380 about 6 months ago, and only got to use it for just a few hours. It has a 4741 fault. He had someone to work on it (charged him $1200.00) and it ran for about an hour, before faulting out again. He called the mechanic and he said he could try a new sensor but it was going to cost more money. I'm trying to help in any way I can, is there a delete that be installed to eliminate the sensors from shutting him down? Or can anyone point me in a better direction of getting his unit back in operation? Thank you for any help!!

From a search on the net, i fould something that said that code was left angle sensor, if that sounds right, are you able to swap it with the right one? see of the fault code changes, if it does, it could be a faulty sensor.

I have a 2015 TR340 and was getting a crankshaft angle code of some sort. Changed the sensor and still had the code but it was intermittent. Long story short, there's a junction box under and towards the front of the machine from the air filter housing. Inside there are many, many wires that I'm told wear through and short onto each other. Sure enough, that was the problem....several wires had the insulation worn away from years of dirt in there and the bouncing around. Dealers recommendation(aside from renewing the engine harness) was separate the wires and pack it full of silicone caulking....worked like a charm and haven't had any issues. Worth a look. Good luck
