could anyone on here please explain to me to to get rid of the hydraulic tensioner and make it a manual tensioner I've seen people say its just a bot but I'm completely lost on how to do that any help will be greatly appreciated thank you in advance
Where is this tensioner?
I had a hydraulic one on my subaru engine, they seemed to work quite well for that, as the belt stretched, the tensioner took up the slack, a fixed one will not do this, so they do have their advantages.
