TS60R Tilt Rod?

Just got a call from the dealer, apparently my TS60R has a bad tilt rod....I'm assuming that this is the part inside the machine? But he says not available and I have to get a whole unit, at 900 bucks....anyone got any idea what this part is? Thanks is advance.
 
I assume they are talking about the tilt cylinder rod, the part that sticks out of the ram. A machine shop should be able to make a new one for you of the old one can't be straightened.
