Hi Guys,
Found this Eaton/Char-Lynn 2000 series hydraulic motor 11.9 cu"/rev attched to a gear reducer, came from an old saw mill being scrapped. I thought it would make a good start to a home made auger project. It certainly is heavy duty. I found the tag on the motor but the tag is missing on the gear reducer, but under where the tag was attached is a stamped number 164318. Can somebody please help me ID this reducer? I am guessing by the shape that it is a planetary type arrangment. The motor is a 106-1012-006, which I found to be a 385 rpm at
I am thinking I will at least attach it to my Bobcat 720 aux hydraulics and see how it runs. Make sure it runs both directions and see how fast the shaft spins.
Now I need to find/fab the rest of it, and find an auger bit and coupler to fit that keyed shaft.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Paul
