I found a set of steel tracks for $1k, they are suppose to be new. My tires are 1/2 to 1/3 and I only use the 763 around the house/field. Right now I am trying to find the pros and cons of using tracks, need to know so I can make up my mind before they get gone.

Do you operate you machine in soft or muddy areas that you need the extra traction or get stuck? I put my tracks on in late winter or spring when things get soggy but for the rest of the year just tires are enough.

I had Logering tracks on my 863 and they are like night and day in muddy conditions or in snow... your machine wil run like its on hard packed dirt... there are several different brands out there, I chose the logering ones cuz they have a lot of solid track surface to give more flotation compared to a grouser track for example which is just square steel bars. it will load down the engine more when turning but other than that they work great. I want a set for my 753 but can't justify the expense for a machine I am only using at home right now... You may need wheel spacers depending on the offset of your rims so the tires don't hit the frame
