In Texas, the replacements(1 pair) costs $5,800 just for the tracks. The tool to change it is about $300. You need at least 1-2 other people to help you and a forklift would help also, but you don't absolutely have to have the forklift or the tool. Just will take a lot longer. While you have the tracks off, replace any bad rollers if necessary. The biggest disadvantage to the 287 (ASV) tracks are you absolutely have to keep the tracks clean to make them last. If you run it in mud, pressure wash the tracks the same day before the mud dries. Otherwise the rollers freeze up and get flat spots worn on them. I learned this through the school of hard knocks. Also, grease the tracks EVERYDAY!!
