Help!!! I just bought a case tr310 on auction. Got there and they loaded it just fine on trailer after a jump start. Got home and had battery tested and it was shot so got a brand new battery. Engine starts fine and lights on dash all kick on when sitting in seat. I keep getting fault code 9406 and cannot enable the hydraulic functions. The park brake light does not stay on when starting engine and I’m guessing it should bc it automatically sets when turned off. When replacing battery we did break a tiny 16-18 ga wire connected to kill switch but fixed it at that time also.

Have checked all fluids and they are full. There is a loose connector by thermostat housing but can’t find anything it would connect to. Checked all fuses and only found a blown 2 amp ground fuse. Replaced and didn’t change anything.

Is there an easy way to raise loader arms to roll cab ? We tried to lift with tractor using manual relief valve next to seat but I guess that only lets pressure out if arms are raised. Only other thing I can think of is open line on the cylinder and make a big mess.

What should I start with checking?

Also since this one has a key switch does it have to be started using key switch. I’ve seen some videos they start using the keypad but this one doesn’t respond.

Fault code 9406 indicates a communication issue within the vehicle's control systems. Specifically, it signifies a "No CAN Communication From VCM" error, meaning that the Vehicle Control Module (VCM) is not communicating with other components, such as the engine or transmission. This can be caused by damaged wiring, faulty connectors, or issues with the control module itself. Troubleshooting typically involves checking the CAN bus wiring and connectors for any signs of damage or corrosion.
