TL250 no auxiliary hydraulics and quick attach

I have a TL250, moves fine, loader works all directions, detent and one way/two way lights come on if pressed, safety microswitch for auxiliary hydraulics has been by passed for quite some time with no issues. The problem I am having as of last week is that my auto quick attach just clicks when trying to switch out attachments. Also, I hooked up my auxiliary mower to the aux ports to test if they were working but they are not. So quick attach and auxilary ports are not working. Any help would be appreciated.

Going to update what I have tried so far.

1. I cleaned and replaced all fuses in the fuse box
2. I checked large fuses in the back by the battery
3. I checked the coils on the quick attach solenoid and the coil on the auxiliary solenoid that is seated above the engine
4. I replaced pilot hydraulic filter
5. I removed the cover from the left joystick, cleaned and reseated all of the connections under it.
6. Google said there is a seat safety switch, however I do not think this machine was equipped with one because there is not one to be found nor does the workshop manual mention one.
7. The lap bar safety switch is working, if I raise the bar, the emergency brake engages, drive and loader hydraulics become non functional. With it down everything operates normally besides the auxiliary hydraulics of course.

Any ideas for next steps to try would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Just an idea…. Does the auxiliary valve spool move? Could be stuck.

I am learning all this by trial, so talk to me like a dummy (which I am), but is the auxiliary valve spool in the master control valve labeled auxiliary section or do I need to be looking at something else? Thanks so much!!!

Yes, the spool is what moves in the control valve to let fluid pass.

I am not familiar with that specific machine, but on most, the solenoids use a high voltage to open and then a lower voltage to keep them open. In other words you could also have an electrical problem that does not open, or hold open, the solenoid.

If you hear the solenoid click each time that tells you the wiring is fine. This generally indicates the solenoid is fine as well. I would be inclined to pull the spool and inspect it. It could be stuck and just needs to be cleaned well. Id find the seal kit for that particular valve and get it ordered. Go ahead and take it out to inspect and reseal it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have taken a look at the control valve but have not had the nerve to start pulling the spool because I have never done that before. Any tips on pulling a spool without jacking something up/things to watch for? Thanks again!!

Every valve is a little different so I can give you some general guidance on it. You'll have something that returns the spool to the neutral position like a spring generally on one end of it. It should have a nut or a snap/retaining ring or a bolt on plate that holds it in. Once you've got it removed the spool should slide out. Ideally you'd remove the valve from the machine but that may not be feasible for you. Get on YouTube and just look at general hydraulic valve rebuild or spool removal. If I'm doing something new to me I try to watch as many videos as possible. If there's a specific video to your machine that's ideal, but a hydraulic spool valve is more or less the same no matter the industry.

Above all else keep it as clean as humanly possible while you work on it.
