I’m new here so Hello everyone!

I have a 2018 tl12v2. The quick couple switch acted a little like a stutter on Sunday but went and operated fine. We drove some fence posts and parked it. Monday afternoon I have no power to the coupler switch. All my fuses seem fine. As well as the relays. It almost seems that a safety feature may have disabled it. Has anyone had this problem?
Thank you

if it was having hit and miss workings, it might be due to a loose electrical concretion
pounding post can shake a lot of things on a machine, so a loose ground or wire might be your issue, I would be back tracking wires to things and looking for loose, or corrosion maybe on connections!

I was afraid of that. Wiring can drive you crazy. I’m going to try that and the safety switch in the auxiliary block

Check the safety switch that is on the hydraulic block on the arm. The metal flap pushes against it when you hook up an implement and prevents the coupler from operating until you disconnect the hydraulic hoses. If that switch is stuck in the closed position, your coupler will be disabled.

I bypassed that switch and wired up a switch inside the machine that allowed me to manually operate that safety feature.

You can't leave the switch open or continuous flow won't work and you can't connect the wires together at the hydraulic block or the coupler won't work. NOTE: I can't remember if that switch is normally open or normally closed, so the restrictions I just stated could be opposite.

I've attached a file with instructions and photos of how I bypassed that switch and removed the flapper so that I could use Stucchi VEP screw to connect connectors for the high flow mulcher. I've also attached diagrams from the Takeuchi workshop manual showing the wiring to the boom. You may be able to isolate the wires in the relay box and connect there so that you don't have to run the wires along the boom. I didn't have the workshop manual when I did my bypass but I've never had an issue with the wires on the boom as I made sure they are well protected.

There was a wire broken on that safety switch. It was broken at the plug in. If I can’t find a plug in I’m going to join the wires until my part comes in. Thank you so much.

Just understand that joining the wires will cause either the hitch to be inoperative or continuous flow lock to run (running a bush hog, rake or sweeper) to be inoperative.
