I have a bobcat 743 and just bought a used set of tires. ... if my to front tires are shorter than the rear tires will it cause any problems with the skidstear? ??

Too much uneven front to rear will put a lot of stress on the drive chains.

I think if you keep it off any paved surfaces it should be ok. Would you agree OldMachinist?

Yes if the surface allows slippage then it won't hurt as much but the axle with the taller tire is always going to try and travel a little further than the shorter tire so once all the slack is out of the chain that smaller tire has to slip.
