I have a tight tilt cylinder rod nut that I need to remove off a 642. The nut is in a recess in the piston such that a socket will only fit halfway down onto the nut. Also, the 12pt 1-11/16" socket I'm using seems to be a little sloppy on the nut. Have others removed this nut? Is it 1-11/16" ? What did you use to remove it? Thanks.

I don't see any 6 series machines any more , but I know I use a deep dish 1 + 11/16 on a lot of Bobcat cylinder , also I have a few sockets that are either turned down on a lathe or I grinded them to make the wall thinner cause they wouldn't fit down into the recess
