I couldn't help but notice all the linkage to my park brakes are gone. The bell crank that goes through the tank is frozen but is there. Both calipers are there and all 4 shoes appear to have the same amout of lining which is good, the all 4 the same part anyway. Now the manual says discard when the lining is worn out. Now my pads seem that there is not enough room to add much more pad thickness and the lining would be pushing it if its over the thickness of a dime so figure .030 or so. The manual says replace when pads are worn out. Any one know how thick the fiber brake lining that is vulcanized to the pad is when new. I have a feeling my pads are new but just unhooked. I would like a park brake but will work until I get one. Can any one help, a suggestion or two would be nice. Thanks, jeffco
