thanks for the posts on the 17-06 error code. i have a 773 g series and the info posted here helped greatly. i managed to get it changed myself. i had to remove the bracket holding the hydraulics to the machine and this allowed me to pry it over far enough to get the solenoid off. This was not mentioned and i thought i would add it. i didn't have to remove any other lines or hoses to do it.
