temp gauge bobcat 853

I am trying to trouble shoot the analog temp guage in my 853. I have the service manual but I can't seem to find any reference to where the heat sensor is located on the engine. This machine has an Isuzu motor.

It's on the left side of the engine, under the air intake hose. That's where it is on mine.

You might want to remove the air filter assemble to free up some space in there. 3 bolts and ahose clamp if mem serves.
