I have SCR on my instrument panel and the power is reduced.... what is going on?

We just had the same thing happen to ours. In a matter of about a hour, the machine gradually slowed down to a idle and wont let you run it at any higher rpms. On the phone, the service dept said the machine was interrupted when going into regen mode. When we took it in to the dealer, they had to repair some wiring that most likely rubbed but Im not sure where.
