I have a bobcat 2014 t590 with 170hrs. When I try to do something that requires alot of force, I think the belt for the hydrolics slips and makes a squelch noise. Like driving full stick and lifting the boom. Or digging with force, squelch. I think there is a way to increase tension on the hydrolic belt but I'm not sure. No warning lights are on, fresh fuel filter, hydrolics fluid is good. I had an 873 for 12years never a problem except the seat bar sensor and the fuel check valve, ha. Bought a new one cause I didn't want aging issues and surprise....

It depends on your serial #. You can either have a Kubota engine or a Bobcat brand/Doosan built engine. Kubota engine has a fixed idler for the drive belt that can be adjusted down. The Doosan built engine has a spring loaded self tensioning idler for the drive belt with a stop from keeping the tensioner from bouncing up and down creating slack in the belt.
