Message: <blockquote data-quote="Fishfiles" data-source="post: 7335" data-attributes="member: 782"><p>Here's a T300 nightmare solved , l was leaking hyd oil from the boom spool cap , changed the seals on the shaft and the seal or shaft really didn't look bad , next day it was leaking again , so I changed them a second time , getting better at it , 2 hour job for just the boom spool , tilt spool with high flow is rough , two days later leaking again , I am thinking the vavle body is cracked , I was looking thru the service manuel for something else and see there is a plastic plug and o ring inside the hollow spool which seals oil from leaking around the threads of the stud which holds the detent to the spool , it gave me the procedure of drilling a 1/16 hole in plug and threading a 6/32 tap into it and pulling it out the hole as it is pushed in there ------------------so what I m saying is if your T300 is leaking oil out the back cap which covers the detent and spring and you are going to change the seals , be sure to get the palstic plug and o ring which cost about and extra $10</p></blockquote><p></p>
