T300 Drive Belt Stop adjustment

I am having issues with the low pressure shutdown. Decided to check belt. Removing everything to get to the belt. Belt seems a little loose. The manual states to move stop to idler arm on tensioner pulley and tighten. The stop is locked all the way back now. Should I loosen and push forward and tighten. Seems to me the stop being all the way back is causing the belt to bounce back and forth, maybe causing the low hydraulic pressure. Any ideas?

There should be a T300 book in the manual thread, it should have instructions about the belt tensioner, and how to troubleshoot issues.
