T200 hydrostatic pump removal

Can anybody tell me if it’s a pain to remove the hydrostat pump from the front of the machine pulling the engine seems a bit overkill to me am I wrong?

Not sure you have good enough access to pull just the pump. The pulley needs to come off to get to the bolts, not always enough room to get a puller in there to do that.
Pulling the whole engine/pump isn't as hard as you may think. A few hoses, wires, bolts and it just lifts out.
