Morning, First post here, Been on bobcats since they were Melroe my dad started with a 1960's model. anyway he has a 753 from 1990 and he fixed it so the seat bar does not need to be down to operate. I have a 07 T190 and wondering if anyone knows how to bypass that seat bar. 6'3 320 gets a little tight also i notice and good bumps and it trips and i have to reset to continue.

When I bought my 763 last year the seat bar apparently was so rusted on the section that goes across your waist and broken, that the previous owner cut it off at the corners and just pushed down each side so that the sensors were engaged. So, I've never used it. A new one is over $300, so I never replaced it. Safety is a concern. I chose to just use the seat belt. I know this won't help you cause I'm sure you don't want to ruin a good bar.... just sayin' that mine works as is.

The only other way, but i don't recommend it is to remove the sensor and magnet, rotate it till the seat bar light comes on and glue it in place. This by-passes the seat bar sender.
Do this at your own risk though, i feel much safer with the seat bar down, much like a seat belt in a car, without it on, it just feels wrong.

Well i run enclosed cab so thats nice also getting my fat a** out of that seat take a LOT. His old one he just used two wire ties to hold that button down but i dont seem to have that. cutting it is not a bad option i would install a seatbelt as it is always nice to feel safe

Tazza hit it ----- you take the seat bar off , I have never used glue but have aligned the magnet and electrical taped it up , it is easy to put it all back to OEM if need be

I have never done it on a seat bar, but i have on a seat sensor. I have used insultion tape before, as fishfiles said, you can easily reverse it.
