2004 T190 that is not circulating engine coolant. Customer was using it and heater stopped blowing heat so he got out and the plastic fill tank was empty with coolant blown out. The customer changed thermastat and water pump to no avail . the engine runs fine and the radiator hose going to the thermastat gets hot to the touch but the outlet radiator hose on the left side rear of engine stays completely cold as does the heater hoses. any ideas?

just wondering which way the coolant flows through the engine? does it enter the engine through the thermastat side or from the other side?

The coolant always comes in from the bottom and goes up, which means goes out of the thermostat and enters form the water pump to radiator hose. One reason can be air lock. Check that there is no clogging on the hoses or jammed radiators. (including that of the heater). When the coolant is not replaced regularly, only supplement ,grease-like deposits are formed. I drew a tennis ball like a ball from hose between the thermostat and the radiator, near to radiator pipe..Check that the thermostat is properly positioned, I have seen the inverted up side down, and the symptoms are exactly the way you describe them.Grip the hoses with a suitable glove. Which is harder cold one or warm one?

thank you but i am still not crystal clear on this. i do not have the machine here anymore so i can not check this but if i remember correctly ........one radiator hose goes to the thermostat housing on the right side of the engine and the other(left) radiator hose goes from the rear side of the engine to the radiator. the left hose has a spring in it which i assume is to keep it from collapsing when coolant is going from the radiator to the engine? So...coolant leaves the thermostat housing and goes to the radiator....correct?

Yes, that's right. The other hose from the radiator goes behind the engineто to the metal pipe and from there into the water pump.
