Guys, The primer bulb is collapsing when machine runs at higher demand/rpms. I blew thru the fuel line back into tank and also used a rag and blew air from filler nozzle back thru fuel line. Line seems as if it may have some restriction. When tank is 3/4 full, there is a gravity flow of diesel that seems to be about 1/3 the capacity of the line, fairly slow! So my questions are:, and I cannot find any schematic on-line, so any help is appreciated. 1. How do I access the fuel tank dip nozzle? 2. Is there a check valve in the fuel system somewhere and did I miss up by blowing air thru the line back into tank. 3. Thoughts on what my problem may be?

Looking at the T190 parts book (as there isn't one for the 180 in the thread) there doesn't appear to be a check valve or filter sock on the end of the tank hose. If you can blow air through it without finding any obstructions, perhaps it's in the venting. Try it with the cap off, if you haven't already, and see if the flow increases.

it needs to be a vented cap a non-vented fuel cap sets up a vacuum causing a run lean condition.

Thanks, I believe a solved the issue, I was able to locate the fuel tank dip tube and pulled it, clean as a whistle all the way back to the primer bulb. Happen to look in the end of the primer bulb and saw what looks like small fines of grass debris. I changed the primer bulb and I am going to add a in-line fuel filter upstream of the bulb...hopefully all work outs! Thanks for the response!

I am having a similar problem with my T190. The bulb is collapsing. Where & how were you able to locate the fuel tank dip tube?
