T 300 Hydrostatic pump

My question is I had to remove the left drive Hydrostatic pump top to repair solenoid. All back together and machines left track wants to turn as soon as I try to start then dies. How to find neutral, trial and error??? With the adjustment screw? Thank any help would be very much appreciated.

Yes on blocks with 2 - 500 psi gauges on .
